As the nights draw in, winter provides the perfect opportunity for people to gather together, warm themselves with a mulled wine or hot chocolate and exchange stories. I’m looking forward the Guid Crack Clubs happening in Edinburgh and beyond over the next few months as storytellers share the most magical wintry tales.
One of my favourite ones was told by Scots teller Alastair McIver and involved 2 argumentative snowflakes. The ending was a bit of a surprise and must confess to having changed it to suit various audiences but the story is magical nonetheless.
What’s your favourite winter’s tale? Let me know and I’ll see if I know it?
